School privacy notice

Last updated: July 29, 2026

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy for teacher- and school-managed use in the United States.

School authorization

A teacher creating a class must confirm that the teacher or school is authorized to use EURUS and to provide consent where a school may do so for a limited educational service. Schools remain responsible for required notices, permissions, procurement rules, and determining whether EURUS is approved for their students.

FERPA role

When EURUS receives education-record information under FERPA’s school-official exception, EURUS acts only for the educational purpose authorized by the school, remains under the school’s direct control regarding that information, does not redisclose it except as authorized by the school or law, and uses it only for users with a legitimate educational need. A school or district agreement may add required terms and supersedes this notice where it provides stronger protections.

COPPA and students under 13

Students under 13 cannot create independent EURUS accounts. School authorization applies only to collection and use for the school-requested educational activity—not for an unrelated commercial purpose. If EURUS offers a use that requires parental consent rather than school authorization, we will provide direct notice and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting the child’s personal information for that use.

Student information and limits

Access, deletion, and school instructions

Parents should normally contact the school first. Authorized schools and parents may request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing hello@gameforge.dev. We verify the requester’s identity and authority before releasing student information.
